About Us

As we are distributing wines from independent wineries that are themselves committed to producing quality wines, it is imperative that the service we provide to our customers reflect this commitment. We constantly strive to offer an honest, personal and reliable service.

Our customers can rely on the 30 years combined experience and knowledge of the wine trade of directors Philippe Larue and Richard Bouglet. Our small team is delighted to offer advice or answer queries whenever required.

Our Environmental Policy
Our focus is the supply of quality wines that are made with passion and integrity whilst remaining true to environmental issues. We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner. We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods. It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.

Our policy is to:

- Support and comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice.
- Minimise energy and water usage in our buildings, vehicles and processes in order to conserve supplies and minimise our consumption of natural resources.
- Minimise our waste and recycle wherever possible.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles with due regard to environmental issues as far as reasonably practical and encourage the use of alternative means of transport/car sharing.
- As far as possible purchase products and services that do the least damage to the environment and encourage others to do the same.
- Assess the environmental impact of any new processes or products we intend to introduce in advance.
- Ensure that employees understand and comply with our environmental and sustainability policy.
- Update, our environmental and sustainability policy annually in consultation with staff, associates and customers.

We have the following specific objectives:

- To continue to source environmentally friendly wines from ethical producers and therefore source, whenever possible, organic, biodynamic and fair-trade wines.
- To continue reducing the use of paper by using electronic means of communication.
- To continue the use of recycled paper for our marketing literature (including business cards).
- To use biodiesel for our vehicles.
- To work with the Carbon Trust to design a long term carbon zero practice.

There is more to wine than science...
