This wine packs a punch with its racy, frank maturity and flourishes of candied lemon and orange peel. Refined minerality and typicity on the palate, this Riesling is generous and full bodied.

The nose is racy and honest, with a pleasant citrus, gently floral and spicy character. Fleshy on the palate, the complex, almost exotic nature of its fruit becomes apparent, together with the underlying citrus, floral and mineral notes that underpin it. Persistent and lively.

Dominique Cornin's Mâcon Chaintré has the desired fatness of the Mâconnais terroir on the palate but this is balanced by its fresh acidity.

This Pouilly Fuissé Villages is delicious, showing peachy notes with a hint of almond.

'Les Chevrières' shows lovely concentration, with brioche and almond flavours.

The north-facing slopes at high altitudes in the Haut Languedoc, along with Catherine's hard work in the vineyard and minimum intervention, are the secret to create this perfectly balanced wine. The exact blend is something of a mystery! However it does contain some Chardonnay and Roussanne.

The Chardonnay benefits particularly from this micro-climate due to a cooler growing season and chalky soil, allowing for much more complexity than is usual in the Languedoc. Quince and citrus fruits, well balanced, light oak.

Purity and perfection, an outstanding blend of the Clovallon cepages. Without question one of the great French whites. A confident wine that balances its fruit and richness brilliantly. Would go well with foie gras.

This wine is a delightful expression of its cooler climate and its terroir. It is zippy and crisp, with delicious lime juice and lime leaf characters, hints of herbs, and a wonderful mineral finish.

Very obviously fruit driven, with plenty of red fruit. Very balanced and fresh.

Packed with the usual cassis notes and touches of mint, this is a very approachable and soft Cabernet with ripe tannins.

Refined and elegant, presenting really good cherry, raspberry and spice flavours. A happy marriage of Syrah and young Pinot Noir, a very complex, racy and elegant wine.

The fruit is up front and welcoming with blueberry, plum and earthy undertones. The palate is soft and full textured with fine dusty tannins and well integrated oak.

Aromatics of damson and mulberry are supported by a densely textured palate and elegant tannic backbone. Would benefit from decanting.

A densley aromatic nose cramming in fruitcake, allspice, cinnamon, black olive & cedar. Palate is rich & chunky, oak nicely in tune. Not a monster though: surprisingly elegant when it decides to open up.

Characteristic violet and mulberry fruit aromatics are beautifully interwoven with oak, vanillin and nutmeg . The palate has an extra dimension and texture from the wild ferment and stem inclusion but still retains its elegance and fine grained tannins. Cries out for lamb.

A tribute to the founder of biodynamic principles, half of the wine's vinification has taken place in oak (20% new). The wine is generous and satisfying, with a lovely mineral structure and elegant spiciness from its light oak. Ideal with rich white meat dishes or matured cheese.

Complex nose of violets, red berries, spices and liquorice. Wonderfully fully bodied, elegant and long.

Big but complex structure, packed with black and red berry fruits, with cloves, white pepper and cinnamon also present on the palate. The tannins are long but soft and structured. The finish is very long and satisfying.
