David Large describes his development as a winemaker as a process of “unlearning” – breaking down the techniques collected through his studies and various periods working under highly-esteemed producers to establish his own unique style. He is also a rap and poetry aficionado, putting his talents to good use when it comes to penning the lyrics that adorn his back labels. David's vineyards are located in pockets around Montmelas, a beautiful and mountainous area of the Southwest Beaujolais. The soil types of his wines are predominantly granite, clay and the “Pierres Dorées”, a local and unique limestone formation pigmented with iron oxide. His wines also benefit from a volcanic rock base uniquely suited to Gamay vines. His fixation on terroir specificity means that he vinifies and bottles almost every plot separately, resulting in as many as 18 different cuvées each year from only 5ha of vineyards.

Customers have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days after receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer).
Goods can be returned, if possible in original packaging, for a full refund or replacement.
If you receive the wrong product, or a product is faulty, or its bottle or cork is damaged when you receive it, we will replace or refund you with the original price and, if applicable, the cost of returning it.
We ask to be notified in writing or by telephone within seven days of the date of delivery or the time you are aware that the product is faulty or damaged. Products and packaging should be kept until we inform you whether we want you to return them to us or not as we may undertake an analysis or return them to the producer.
Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract you may have with us.
